Today after an approximate 2 month long investigation, The Oakland Police Department arrested Haiian Jin, age 42, of Flushing Queens, NY for engaging in prostitution. The investigation conducted by Detective Bert Pagerie in conjunction with Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, S.I.S Unit, began after several complaints were received about reports of alleged prostitution operating out of Massage 4 U, Inc., located at 350 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ

On July 9, 2014, a prosecutor’s office undercover detective entered the business and was met by Jin, who propositioned the detective for a sexual act in exchange for cash. Task force members, along with members of the Oakland Police Department, entered the business and placed Jin under arrest and charged her with engaging in prostitution, a disorderly persons offense. No one else with the massage parlor has been charged at this time.

Jin was processed and released on her own recognizance pending an appearance in the Okalnd Mubnicipal court.

I think the management of the Copper Tree is saying they want them out. The arrest is not good publicity for a mall that is need of tenants.

Editor’s note: It did not appear that the Copper Tree Mall management put up this sign. It appears that Massage 4 U did.
