Oakland Community together with the McCallum’s

Throughout the 6 weeks since Meg McCallum went missing there have been so many highs and lows for the McCallum family. The one thing that remains constant is the support from the Oakland Community and beyond.

From the Oakland Mom’s facebook group, to the Heights School, to residents they never met before, so many have helped and prayed and spread the word, passed out flyers, used social media and went to the shore to search after her car was found.

This past weekend there was so much hope that Meg would come home soon. There were possible sightings of Meg panhandling with a man in the Jersey Shore area. Unfortunately the McCallum’s learned this woman was not Meg. They are drained, both physically and mentally. They were crestfallen that this was not Meg. But their faith continues. And their gratitude for all who have been so supportive and helpful grows.

Now is the time for the Oakland Community to keep sharing the flyer, give encouragement to the McCallum’s, help renew their energy to continue the search, continue praying for her safe return, continue to have hope and continue to #FindMeg.
