MARCH 18: Officer Daniel Kern and Det Mark Piercy were dispatched to the Oakland Shop-Rite on a complaint of an intoxicated male party that was found to have been shoplifting. The investigation resulted in a 57-year-old Oakland resident being arrested for the theft as well as for Driving Under the Influence. The offender was processed and later released from custody with a court date set to later appear in the Oakland Municipal Court.
MARCH 19: While on a call for service, Officer Bryan Rowin located an Oakland resident that was known to be a wanted person by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department at a residence on Ryerson Ave. The 43-year-old male was taken into custody, processed, and later released into the custody of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department for final disposition. Officer Michael Griffin assisted.
