On the Job – March 30, 2016


policecarMARCH 23: While on patrol Officer Luis Gaviria investigated a disabled vehicle on I-287 which resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old Boonton, NJ resident for Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle. The male offender was processed and later released from custody to an acquaintance with a court date set to later appear in the Oakland Municipal Court.

MARCH 23: While on patrol Officer Bryan Rowin recognized a Wanaque, NJ resident at the Copper Tree Mall that was known to have an active criminal warrant issued out of the Ringwood Municipal Court. The 20-year-old male was taken into custody, processed, and later released into the custody of the Ringwood Police Department for final disposition.

MARCH 23: Patrol Officers Bryan Rowin and Michael Griffin, with the assistance of Detectives Mark Piercy and Edward McDermott, arrested two Park Dr residents on outstanding criminal drug possession warrants issued out of the Oakland Municipal Court. The two offenders, a 52-year-old female, and a 55-year-old were taken into custody, processed, and later transported to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $20,000 full cash bail for each.

MARCH 29: During the course of a motor vehicle stop, Officer Bryan Rowin located an active traffic warrant for a 41-year-old female resident of Mahwah, NJ who was seated as a passenger. The active warrant was issued by the Upper Saddle River Municipal Court and the offender was later released on her own recognizances by the Upper Saddle River Police Department.
