The relief operations for flood victims are ongoing at the Flood Center located in the old TV Doctor shop on Ramapo Valley Rd.

The first video here is Oakland resident John-Paul Ranaudo who was involved on Labor Day helping to clean up the home of a family in Oakland. He describes his experience as a volunteer.
The second video is of members of Oakland Cares. This is a local organization which normally seeks to help Oakland residents in need of assistance, whether it be due to financial stress or disabilities. The flood center space, the old TV Doctor shop at 378 Ramapo Valley Road, was made available by Thomas ‘Chopper” Russo.
In addition to OaklandFloodNJ.com, formed by a variety of Oakland organizations, additional help is being organized by other volunteers to help victims of the flood.
New Jersey Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NJVOAD) has also put out a flyer asking the elderly or the disabled who need clean-up help to call 211, or 1-877-652-1148)
Families with children impacted by the flooding can find resources at the bottom of this article to help with them with their emotions.
