On September 5, 2012 while assisting Det. Bart Pagerie with a follow-up investigation at the Motor Vehicle Commission, Ptl. Ryan O’Keefe arrested a 47 year old Ramsey man for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was later released into the custody of his mother and given a date to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court.
On September 10, 2012 Ptl. Harvey conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ramapo Valley Road on a vehicle that was being operated in an erratic manner. The driver, a 30 year old West Milford resident, was subsequently arrested and charged with operating his vehicle under the influence of a suspected narcotic. A drug recognition expert from the Mahwah Police Department assisted in the investigation. Charges included D.W.I., reckless driving and failure to keep right.
On September 16, 2012 Ptl. Broek conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ramapo Valley Road on a vehicle for reckless driving. The driver, a 50 year old Elmwood Park resident, was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to HQ where he submitted samples of his breath for chemical testing. He was charged with D.W.I., D.W.I. in a school zone, reckless driving, driving on a suspended driver’s license and failure to keep right. After posting bail in the amount of $296.00 for outstanding warrants emanating out of Newark , N.J. , the driver was released into the custody of a friend and given a date to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court.
