Barbara Chernyavky’s water color of Lily Pads to be hung at the Bergen County Administrative Building
Oakland, NJ, June 1, 2015 – Each year, Barnstable Academy participates in the Bergen County Teen Arts Festival held at Bergen Community College. The festival, held on Friday, May 29th, is organized to exhibit talented students from various Bergen County high schools. Not only do the students perform, they have the ability to attend workshops including dance, film, video, instrumental and vocal music, as well as theater and visual arts. This year, sophomore Barbara Chernyavky’s water color of “Lily Pads” received special recognition and was chosen to be displayed at the Bergen County Administrative Building.
“Lily Pads” will be on display at One Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack from June 17-July 1st.
