The Oakland Girl Scouts recently held their annual dance – this year’s theme was “Dancing through the Ages”.
The event was well attended by Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes and Ambassadors and their parents.
A variety of music from many decades was played and many troops lead the dances including: the Twist, Hand Jive, Thriller, Macarena, The Electric Slide, Cotton-eyed Joe, Cha Cha Slide and Hoe Down Throw Down!
Upcoming events for Girl Scouts include the Brownie Breakfast, the Junior Luncheon and the Family Ice Skating Night. Girls are asked to contact their leaders regarding more information on these events.
