Bergen County has been promoting a discount service for Seniors, Veterans, Volunteers, and First Responders whereby companies affiliated with the program will accept the display of a Bergen County Savvers card and grant discounts and other benefits.
For Example, The Market Basket will grant a 10% discount on all goods sold at the Franklin Lakes store to the cardholders who present the card to the cashier at time of checkout. The card is returned to the buyer with his receipt for goods sold.
