Local Artists to Exhibit at the New Friends of the Oakland Library Annual Art Exhibit and Sale


The New Friends of the Oakland Public Library will be sponsoring the Annual Art Exhibit and Sale on Saturday, April 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 17, from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Oakland Public Library. Oakland artists Pam Leggate, Peg Dressel, Artie Bird, Gerry Bird, Barbara Carfi, Karen Dubowick , Carole Finklestein, Chris Kochka, Siegi Lehmann, Corrinne Lill, Scott Scarpelli, Dennis Moster, Frank Trivisani, Alice Winberry, Gail Lino, and Mary Lou Siegel will have their paintings on exhibit and for sale. Artists from Franklin Lakes include Jeanne Nicolle and Roberta Oliver. Michelle Himes from Waldwick will also be presenting.

The exhibit will include over 200 paintings in acrylic, oil, and watercolor, as well as drawings in pen and pencil, mixed-media art and photography, framed and unframed. The works of 40 local artists will be presented. There is something for everyone and every budget at the popular Art Exhibit and Sale. A portion of the proceeds from the Art Sale, will benefit cultural programs for the Oakland Library community.
