The New Friends of the Oakland Public Library invite all area residents to attend their Sixth Annual Book Sale which will be held at the Library on Friday, October 30th, from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Saturday, October 31st, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Sunday, November 1st from 12 noon until 4:00 pm. The Library is located at 2 Municipal Plaza in Oakland, right off Ramapo Valley Road. Approximately
6,000 gently used books, in all categories, will be offered at “Marked to Sell” prices. The vast assortment of fiction, mystery, and non-fiction books, in both paperback and hard cover, include a particularly outstanding collection of juvenile and young adult fiction. In addition, this year’s sale offers an exceptional array of history books, particularly books on World War II, biographies, religion, sports and reference. There are books available in virtually all categories, and are sorted for easy browsing.
CD’s, movies, and puzzles are also offered at very reasonable prices. All proceeds from the sale go to support community programs held at the Oakland Library.
