Dogwood Daisy’s make the world a better place

The Dogwood Kindergarten Daisy Troop have completed a project to make the world a better place. For this project they will be spreading smiles to people who need them through an organization called ColorASmile.org. “Color A Smile is a nonprofit organization that distributes cheerful drawings to Senior Citizens, Our Troops Overseas, and anyone in need of a smile”..

The troop was challenged to see how many drawings we can collect in a months time to see how many smiles we can spread! At our March meeting, the Daisy Troop made paper link chain; for each drawing/coloring collected over a months period, a link will be added to our chain. This chain has served as a great way to show our children how a little thing can make a big difference. We have collected 516 drawings!
