Oakland singer Amanda Leigh got the Meghan Trainor makeover!!! She answered the call for:
Amanda Leigh, Meghan, and American Hairstylist Kristin Ess (one of Meghan Trainor’s hairstylists for her Lips Are Moving video)
Seeking participants for a Meghan Trainor makeover. Producer states: “This is a branded documentary following Meghan Trainor behind the scenes as she travels on her first tour as a headliner. Are you a Meghan Trainor fan? Are you willing to have your hair styled? Are you available from noon until the concert and excited to appear on camera? If you answered yes to all of the questions above we would like to hear from you! We are producing a video spot in conjunction with the Meghan Trainor tour and you’ll receive a ‘Meghan Trainor’ hair make-over from acclaimed hairstylist Kristin Ess.”
And the rest is history!!!
HP Computers partnered with Meghan Trainor for her Lips are Moving video, then went on tour to tape a first ever documentary that combines the most influential social media Viners, Instagrammers, and YouTube stars (whose audience reaches nearly 30 million people) and her beloved #Megatronz fans.

We asked Amanda what was the best part of this experience:
“Meghan is one of my favorite artists and is an amazing songwriter (MT has been writing music since age 11). Meeting her in person and singing for her was very exciting!!! She hugged me and said I sang really well! That meant a lot to me.”
Amanda’s parents, April and Anthony Masefield “are very proud of Amanda. She takes her singing very seriously, so we try to support her as a family and give her the resources that she needs and help her find opportunities and great experiences that will inspire her along this journey. We try to balance work, school, 4 children, activities, lessons and some time for fun! We have a lot of family, friends and community support and are very thankful.”
Aside from singing, Amanda loves school (math is her favorite subject), playing piano, riding her bike, playing with friends, and helping take care of her brothers.

Winners of this event will move on to perform during the April 8 Show Off and hopefully on to Top Dog on June 3. It all leads to the chance of winning the title of Super Top Dog and a cash prize of $10,000 in November!
