Recently Girl Scout Christine Asaro earned the Gold Award – the highest honor in Girl Scouting. She’s pictured here amongst members of her troop, her leaders and several members from other troops including Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors who came to her ceremony to celebrate her great achievement. Christine has been a Girl Scout for 13 years starting in Kindergarten as a Girl Scout Daisy and is the 7th girl in an Oakland troop to earn the Gold Award.
