In the past weeks there have been numerous bear sightings throughout Oakland. This big guy
decided to take a 6 hour nap in Joy Johnson’s backyard in the Manito section then wandered afterward to the neighbor’s yard. The bears are looking for food as the nuts and acorns that usually are plentiful can hardly be found. Thanks for sending in the photos Joy. Be careful outside Oakland.
