Community Service Hours

Students who need Community Service Hours can volunteer at The Library for the New
Friends of the Library Book Sale to take place on Saturday, October 3.

Just leave your name, phone number and e-mail, the hours you are available and we
will call you as we need you.

Help is needed immediately in sorting the books.

Friday, October 2 we will be setting up the sale after Library Hours.

On Saturday, October 3, the day of the sale, we will need runners to help carry
books to cars and help clean up after the sale.

Plenty of hours; plenty of opportunity.
And the good feeling that comes from doing something good for your community.

The New Friends of the Library help fund those items and programs which enhance the
library experience, especially for children. In the past year the New Friends have
provided free family passes for the American Museum of Natural History, the Circus
performer for the End of the Summer Reading Game Bash and prizes for the Adult
Reading Game. Become a New Friend in October when we have our Friendship Drive.
