To help commemorate Presidents Day Weekend, the Oakland Historical Society held an Open House at the Van Allen House on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011.
The event included a speaker, guided tours of the museum, demonstrations on colonial cooking and music and also fire-making demonstrations from Frontiersmen members.
