The Oakland Public Events Committee will be coordinating the annual town carnival which will be a 4 day event this year, from Wed-Sat, June 26-29, 2013. Along with the rides at the Carnival, there are the Games of Chance. If your organization has an interest in operating the Games of Chance, please email or send a letter of interest by February 7, and we will get back to you with further details and answer any questions.
The Public Events Committee typically meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:30 PM at the Oakland Senior Center. The mission of this Committee is to develop, organize, manage, coordinate and co-sponsor public events for Oakland residents and their friends and families. We are looking for some additional members to fill the recently expanded 15 member committee.
