Recently Bergen County Sheriff Leo McGuire spent a wonderful morning at Manito School in Oakland. He spoke to a class of older kids about the Office of Sheriff and read in Miss Roche’s classroom to the 2nd grade about using their imagination and being whoever they dream to be. He read Dr. Suess’s “Oh the Thinks you Can Think” book.
This visit was part of Read Across America Week and Sheriff McGuire will be traveling across the county to different elementary schools all week.
