The congregants and Council of Messiah Lutheran Church are pleased to announce that the Rev. Julia Haspel-Schoenfeld has accepted a Call as the new permanent Pastor of the congregation. Currently from the Attleboro, MA area, Pastor, her husband Hans, and two boys will be joining the congregation and community as of May 1st. Pastor Haspel is looking forward to leading worship services and the congregation at Messiah Lutheran Church, 228 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland. Pastor and the congregation extend an invitation to join us Sunday mornings at either the 9:00 Contemporary Worship service or the 10:30 Traditional Worship Service. Sunday School from ages 3-adult is from 9:45-10:20 and childcare is provided from 9am-12pm. Note: On May 3, there will be one combined worship service at 10:30 as a part of the congregation’s 50th anniversary celebration. For that Sunday there will be no 9:00 AM service.
