New School Lunch Program
Pomptonian Food Service is proud to partner with the Oakland School District to bring the Village Fresh School Lunch Program to Valley Middle School. Our Village Fresh selections source high quality ingredients, such as minimally processed, all-white meat chicken products, and infuse healthy options into kid-appealing meals. Our Village Fresh chefs have created menu options that are freshly prepared, tasty, and visually appealing. Specialty items such as fresh salads, antibiotic and hormone-free chicken, and all-natural beef selections will be offered. All meals include fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and a choice of hormone-free milk. The Village Fresh program incorporates Jersey Fresh and locally sourced produce when in season.
All meals are prepared fresh each day right here in Oakland. Village Fresh will be bringing Oakland into the new food movement by increasing quality while keeping costs reasonable. Village Fresh will pilot at Valley Middle School on November 3rd.
