On August 21, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Aspen Way, Ptl. Broek arrested a 32 year old Denville resident on an outstanding warrant out of Union Township. The woman was transported to police headquarters where bail in the amount of $1000.00 was posted in full. She was later released.
On August 21, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle stop on West Street, Ptl. Broek arrested a 42 year old Monroe, NY man on a $5000.00 warrant emanating out of Pompton Lakes. He was transported to headquarters where bail was ultimately posted in full.
On August 26, 2013 as a result of a call from a concerned employee of a local business on Ramapo Valley Road, Ptl. Docwra arrested a 36 year old Oakland man in the parking lot of the establishment for driving under the influence of alcohol. Standardized field sobriety tests were conducted on-scene and a breath test was administered at police headquarters. Charges included D.W.I. and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. After processing, the man was released into the custody of a responsible family member. He is scheduled to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court to answer to the charges. A/Sgt. Keenan assisted in the investigation.
