On December 8, 2010 Ptl. Bart Pagerie arrested a 51 year old East Rutherford man at the Oakland Motor Vehicle Commission for attempting to obtain a New Jersey driver’s license utilizing a fictitious social security card. He was transported to headquarters where $1500.00 cash bail was posted. The matter will be referred to the Bergen County Superior Court.
On December 11, 2010 Ptl. McDermott and Ptl. Ryan O’Keefe apprehended three juvenile Oakland boys after they were observed by residents entering unlocked vehicles on Dogwood Drive . The boys were in possession of several items of stolen property including an iPod, a pocket knife and prescription pills that belonged to residents in the area. They were transported to headquarters and turned over to their respective parents/guardians after questioning. Complaints for juvenile delinquency are pending for several counts of burglary to a motor vehicle, theft and possession of stolen property. The matter remains under investigation by the detective bureau.
