On July 23, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Skyline Drive, Ptl. Noury arrested the 26 year old driver from Ringwood, NJ on outstanding traffic warrants. Two warrants totaling $1004.00 out of Wanaque and Ringwood were located. He was transported to headquarters where bail was posted in full by a family member. Prior to his release, the driver was issued a summons for driving with a suspended driver’s license. He is due to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court.
On July 23, 2013 Ptl. Rowin arrested a 31 year old Oakland resident on Oak Street who was known to have an outstanding traffic warrant out of Glen Rock in the amount of $250.00. While on scene, the officer learned that the woman was listed as a wanted person by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department for an outstanding narcotics violation. She was transported to headquarters, processed, and later released into the custody of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department.
On July 27, 2013 as a result of a single-car motor vehicle crash on Barbara Lane, Ptl. Noury arrested a 60 year old Ringwood man for driving under the influence of alcohol. During the course of the officer’s investigation, he located an open container of vodka on the dashboard inside the vehicle. The man was transported to headquarters and submitted samples of his breath for chemical analysis. Prior to his release into the custody of a family member, the driver was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He has been scheduled for an appearance in the Oakland Municipal Court.
