On the Job – June 22nd

oakland_pdOn June 16, 2010 Ptl. McDermott and Ptl. Catenacci were dispatched to a residence on Long Hill Road for a reported residential burglary which occurred sometime in the past.  Upon arrival, the officers entered the home and discovered that several miscellaneous pieces of electronics equipment had been unlawfully removed.  A detective was requested at the scene for further investigation. Det. Piercy along with detectives from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department processed the scene. The matter remains under investigation.

On June 20, 2010 as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Ramapo Valley Road for numerous motor vehicle infractions, Ptl. Ferrarella arrested a 37 year old Haskell , NJ resident for driving under the influence of alcohol. She was transported to headquarters and administered the Alcotest by Ptl. Bart Pagerie. Summonses were issued for careless driving, failure to keep right, maintenance of lamps and D.W.I.  After processing, the woman was released on her own recognizance into the custody of a family member. A June 2010 court date has been scheduled in the Oakland Municipal Court.
