On May 6, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Franklin Ave., Ptl. Gary Fiore arrested a 24 year old Oakland resident on an outstanding no-bail warrant issued by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department. The subject was transported to headquarters without incident and subsequently turned over into the custody of Passaic County Sheriff’s Officers.
On May 8, 2013 Ptl. Broek conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ramapo Valley Road. It was determined that the driver, a 33 year old Oakland resident, was operating his vehicle without motor vehicle insurance and with a suspended driver’s license and registration privileges. Additionally, a warrant in the amount of $250.00 out of Clifton, NJ was located. He was arrested and transported to HQ where bail was posted and he was subsequently released after being issued several motor vehicle summons. He is due to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court.
On May 12, 2013 an Overlook Ridge resident reported to Ptl. Kern that several charges totaling approximately $445.00 were made on her Visa credit card without her authorization. The detective bureau continues to investigate
