NOVEMBER 5: While on patrol, Officer Bryan Rowin initiated a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 287 that resulted in the arrest of a Paterson resident for an active traffic warrant issued from the Paterson Municipal Court. The 45-year-old male was taken into custody, processed, and later released on bail.
NOVEMBER 8: Officer Ryan O’Keefe was dispatched to Arrowhead Rd to investigate a theft of a delivered package from a residents doorstep. Nearly three thousand dollars worth of jewelry was reported lost from the theft. The matter remains under investigation.
NOVEMBER 8: Officer Daniel Kern was dispatched to the Oakland Motor Vehicle Commission for a 44-year-old male Union, NJ resident who was found to have multiple active traffic warrants issued by the municipal courts of Westfield and Hightstown, NJ. The male party was arrested, processed and later turned over to the Westfield Police Department after the offender was unable to secure bail for his release.
