On the Job – November 25, 2014


NOVEMBER 10:  A resident of Page Drive responded to headquarters to report losing his wallet and that someone attempted to use one of his credit cards in New York State.  Report taken by Officer Michael Catenacci.

NOVEMBER 12:  Officer Gary Gusterson was dispatched to a residence on Colgate Road to investigate an employee/employer dispute.  While on scene it was determined that one of the parties involved had multiple active traffic and criminal warrants issued out of three different jurisdictions.  The 55-year-old Paterson, NJ resident was take into custody, processed, and was later turned over to the Englewood Police Department for final disposition.

NOVEMBER 15:  Officer Bart Pagerie was dispatched to a residence on Algonquin Trail for a physical dispute between two males.  Situation involved a misunderstanding involving personal property belonging to one of the parties, and the matter was resolved by Officer Pagerie.  Involved parties advised of their legal options.

NOVEMBER 16:  Officer Daniel Kern was dispatched to the Oakland Shop-Rite to investigate a patrons stolen wallet.  Report taken.

ihhsNOVEMBER 18:  Officer Daniel Kern investigated a complaint of a student at Indian Hills High School that was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  The juvenile male was transported to headquarters and later released to a parent.  Juvenile Delinquency complaint to be later served on the offender.

NOVEMBER 19:  Officer Joseph Noury investigated a walk in complaint regarding a stolen cell phone at Indian Hills High School.  Report taken and to be forwarded to the Detective Bureau.

NOVEMBER 20:  While on patrol, Officer Bryan Rowin initiated a motor vehicle stop on Manito Avenue that resulted in the arrest of an Oakland, NJ resident for multiple active warrants issued from the Sayreville and New Brunswick Municipal Courts.  The 38-year-old male was taken into custody, processed, and later released on bail.  The offender was also found to be driving with a suspended license and a summons was issued to later appear in the Oakland Municipal Court.

NOVEMBER 20:  While on patrol, Officer Bryan Rowin initiated a motor vehicle stop on West Oakland Avenue that resulted in the arrest of a Caldwell, NJ resident for an active traffic warrant issued from the Caldwell Municipal Court.  The 31-year-old male was taken into custody, processed, and later released on bail.

NOVEMBER 20:  Officer Keith Docwra located a 53-year-old male with multiple active warrants issued out of the Riverdale and Boonton Municipal Courts, who was seated in the Oakland Municipal Court.  The offender was arrested, processed, and later turned over to the Boonton Police Department for final disposition.
