SEPTEMBER 15: While on patrol, Officer Bryan Rowin initiated a motor vehicle stop on Ramapo Valley Road which resulted in the arrest of an Newark, NJ resident who was a Wanted Person out of Essex County. The 27-year-old male was taken into custody, processed, and later turned over into the custody of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department to await final disposition with the Essex County Sheriff’f Department. Summonses issued to the offender for an equipment violation as well as for driving with a suspended license.
SEPTEMBER 17: While on patrol Officer Joseph Noury investigated a complaint of a suspicious vehicle parked with a male occupant inside on Cayuga Avenue. During the course of the investigation it was discovered that the involved party had multiple active arrest warrants and was also listed as a Wanted Person out of Warren County. The 25-year-old offender was taken into custody without incident, processed, and later turned over into the custody of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department to await final disposition with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office. Multiple summonses issued to the offender which included driving with a suspended license.
SEPTEMBER 17: A resident from Ringwood, NJ reported being a victim of debit card fraud after he was notified by his bank in Oakland of a suspicious transaction on his account. Officer Michael Catenacci handled the initial investigation. Report taken and matter forwarded to the Detective Bureau.
