On the Job – September 24, 2013


opdonthejobOn September 17, 2013 a local business owner reported fraudulent activity on his business’s  debit card.  Approximately $4050.00 in fraudulent charges were reported to have been made at a supermarket in Michigan.  Ptl. Rowin conducted the initial investigation and referred the matter to the detective bureau for further review.

On September 17, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Bauer Drive, Ptl. Broek arrested a 23 year old Toms River, NJ resident on an outstanding warrant emanating out of Beachwood, NJ in the amount of $500.00.  Additional charges included operating a motor vehicle while having a suspended driver’s license and operating a motor vehicle with unclear license plates.  Bail was posted in full and the subject was later released. He has been scheduled to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court later this month.

On September 21, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Ramapo Valley Road, Ptl. Noury arrested the driver, a 20 year old Boonton, NJ man, on outstanding warrants totaling $1750.00 out of Pequannock and Bridgewater Townships.  Summonses were issued for driving with a suspended driver’s license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and other miscellaneous offenses.  The subject was processed at police headquarters and subsequently turned over into the custody of officers from the Pequannock Township Police Department.
