Summer Math Fun*
In addition to our regular summer activities, this year we will also feature special math classes that will provide students the opportunity to explore mathematical ideas through games, art, literature, and play.
Parent Workshops – Included with Tuition*
Do you have questions about Singapore Math?
While your child is at our summer camp, attend our small group parent workshops to learn about
Singapore Math and The Common Core State Standards.
Learn ways to help your child be better prepared for math class in elementary school.
There will be 5 parent workshops presented:
Introduction to Singapore Math
Subitizing and Ten Frames
Number Bonds
Bar Models
Mental Math
*The special math classes and parent workshops will be conducted by
Colleen Wurster, a retired teacher and former math specialist.
If you are planning to attend the parent workshops, please speak to
Teresa Ercan about signing up for each workshop. It is
recommended that you attend the Introduction to Singapore Math workshop first.
All workshops will be held at 9:00 – 9:50 AM.
