It’s Over….For Now…
The Jonas Brothers, Wyckoff natives and global pop stars, are calling it quits…for now…as a band.
It’s news that came on suddenly for fans, and perhaps the band itself, as promotions for an upcoming tour were continuing until it was abruptly cancelled in the beginning of October.
The breakup – for now – is being attributed to artistic differences. People Magazine attributes the breakup to Nick Jonas who raised concerns about the band’s future during an early October meeting. People quote Jonas as saying, “I was feeling kind of trapped, I needed to share my heart with my brothers.”
Coming full cycle, it was Nick Jonas, the youngest of the Jonas brothers, who originally captured the attention of record producers; so it is not surprising near a decade later that the youngest Jonas would want to pursue his own path – and so it’s over – for now.
The “for now” part is important for fans because the chances of a Jonas reunion are pretty high. It might be awhile, but it will come, one day – sooner or later.
In the mean time, life goes on for the boys who formed the band in 2005, and now 8 years later, in 2013 dissolve it as men.
Nick Jonas has been most aggressive in pursuing his music and acting career with solo albums and acting on Broadway; Joe Jonas – who some originally were blaming for the band’s breakup, has done stints as a music mentor on a talent TV show, and is house hunting with his model girlfriend for a home in California.
Closer to home – home being New Jersey – Kevin Jonas stars with his wife Danielle in Married to Jonas where everyday people get to peek in on Jonas doing everyday things – like shopping for a new house.
Granted, most people when looking for a new house are in a different price range, but the process is pretty much the same; and same goes for selling the existing house – the one in Denville, NJ that many have already seen on the reality TV show. http://www.eonline.com/shows/jonas

The Denville home has some very cool features like a magnificent 6500 bottle mahogany wine cellar – its unclear if the wine is included – and an Apple based Savant Smart Home System.
