School aid cuts are forcing local school boards to adjust budgets and how they promote those budgets to local residents. The towns of Franklin Lakes, Oakland, and Wyckoff were among the hardest hit by the recent cuts in state aid, and all the school boards are holding public meetings to describe the impact of these cuts and their respective responses.
The RIH regional high school school board will meet Wednesday, March 31st at 7:00 pm in the Ramapo Auditorium. Also on March 31st, the Franklin Lakes k-8 school board will be meeting at 8:15pm at The Franklin Avenue Middle School.
On April 1st, Wyckoff’s k-8 school board will be meeting at 8pm in the Eisenhower Middle. Oakland’s k-8 school board will also be meeting on April 1st in the Valley Middle School at 7:30pm.
