The works of art are for sale, and Scott is donating 25% of the proceeds to the Knights of Columbus in Oakland.
Scarpelli’s art projects a vital energy, and the free flowing movement encompasses a musical trait while the sense of randomness reflects the coincidences, surprises, twists & turns that keep life interesting.
While obviously reflecting the influence of the 60s’ era, Scott Scarpelli’s work also incorporates techniques similar to the style of Haring from the 80s.
Scott’s art could also be described as a mixed-medium as a traditional canvas is not always an artist’s only choice. One piece utilizes a wooden wine crate as a canvas, a peace sign painted on it is then finished off with a high gloss finish to make the art work pop…it comes wired and ready to hang in your home.
