The Oakland Newcomers and Neighbors Club will be granting one high school senior residing in Oakland, currently attending any public or private school, a $1,000 scholarship. Applicants are asked to complete a questionaire and submit a 300-word essay describing their aims, interests and goals in life. Applications are available at the Indian Hills High School guidance office. If your school’s guidance office does not have an application, please contact Michelle Monaghan at michellemono@optonline.net The deadline for submissions is May 7th.
