TEMPLE TO HOLD “CELEBRATE ISRAEL SHABBAT” SERVICE
(Wyckoff, NJ) On Friday evening, April 24, Temple Beth Rishon, 585 Russell Ave., Wyckoff, will hold a music-filled “Celebrate Israel” Shabbat service featuring choral pieces and folk songs that Yom Ha’Atzma’ut (Israei Independence Day) and the State of Israel’s 61st anniversary.
Participants in the service include Kol Rishon, the Temple’s adult choir; Cantor Ilan Mamber, soloist Jo-Ann Skiena Garey; Gary Kirkpatrick on piano; Jimmy Cohen on percussion; and Sylvia Rubin on violin.
Refreshments will follow the service, which begins at 8:00 PM.
