A ride down Route 202 in Oakland, NJ showing a familiar drive but giving us a different perspective. The filmmaker strapped a camera to his helmet, and took off down Route 202 and through downtown Oakland.

This was a pretty creative piece by an Oakland resident seeking to win a HomeDepot contest. We give this one a big thumbs up for it’s acting, comedic element and dramatic styling.

If anyone has ever seen “The Station Agent”, a film based in rural New Jersey, you would be familiar with this hobby of filming trains. We found this one from Oakland particularly appealing.

Donate your old wireless phones along with battery and charger to The Hopeline Program. They will refurbish and resell the phones. In turn they donate the proceeds to non-profit agencies that provide victims of domestic violence with phones or cash grants. You can drop off you phone at The Copper Tree Mall.
