June Art Show at the Oakland Public Library
The 2015 Oakland Public Schools Art Show will be on display in the Oakland Public Library beginning June 1. Students, in fourth through eighth grade, from Dogwood Hill, Heights, Manito, and Valley Middle School have created an extravaganza of creative works for the show. Join us on Tuesday, June 2 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. to celebrate their talent, with a reception in the Oakland Public Library. Come meet our local artists, and enjoy an evening of visual delights, music and camaraderie! Refreshments will be served.

June Book Discussion at the Oakland Public Library
The Oakland Library Book Group meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:45 p.m. at the Library. The next meeting will take place on June 11, 2015.
