The Oakland Library is proud to present nationally known Cookbook author Rick Rodgers in conversation on Monday, September 19 at 7:00 PM at the Oakland Library, located at 2 Municipal Plaza in Oakland, NJ. Through his work as a food writer, cookbook author and ghostwriter, cooking teacher, and media guest chef, Rick Rodgers reaches countless cooks every day. Rick has become the go-to guy for celebrity and corporate cookbooks. His clients include show business icons (Patti LaBelle and Frankie Avalon), TV stars (Chris Santos, Gabriele Corcos and Debi Mazar, and Lisa Oz), iconic restaurants and bakeries (Sarabeth’s, Tate’s, Model Bakery in Napa, Carrabba’s, Chelsea Market), and corporations (such as over a dozen books for Williams-Sonoma, plus Kingsford Charcoal, Tommy Bahama, and Sur La Table.) He has written five cookbooks with Teresa Giudice and other “Housewives.” Under his own name, Rick has written over 40 cookbooks on subjects ranging from holiday cooking to grilling, and fondue to Viennese coffeehouses. He is also a culinary producer and creates recipes for clients like the National Pork Board and Weber Grills.
