Fuel Line at Risk
Oakland NJ – April 14 – At approx 1:00pm a box truck slipped its parking brake and rolled into a gasoline tanker delivering fuel to the LukOil station on Ramapo Valley Rd. No Spillage and No Fire was reported. The filling hose can be seen wrapped around the truck’s bumper.
The Oakland FD responded and doused the trucks with water as a precaution while being winched apart by a wrecker. A portion of the town’s main street, Ramapo Valley Road, was closed for the duration of the operation.
