The dedication of Cadette Troop 341’s “Branches to Peace” Mural was held this past Sunday. In attendance were the Cadette Troop, family and friends, along with Mayor Linda Schwager and Council member Tim Jensen. This was developed and painted by the Scouts themselves for their Amaze Journey Take Action Project. They worked over parts of 4 days to complete it in early June. At night they projected the images onto the wall to ensure they matched the design. Congratulations and thanks to all the girls for this wonderful project which will enhance the Danny D’Elia building and Oakland for years to come.
