On Saturday Megs car was recovered in Long Branch NJ. Video has definitively identified Meg’s car entering a public garage in Pier Village and leaving the garage by foot within hours of her presumed departure from Grandma’s home in Montvale. Police agencies have investigated numerous leads and have canvassed the boardwalk area, deployed bloodhounds to search miles of beach and launched search and rescue boats to scan the waters. They continue to review video of commercial businesses. No additional sightings of Meg have surfaced. The family is encouraged by these developments. Meg is a very resourceful woman. She has traveled for extended periods of time in Thailand and California and has crossed the US a number of times. Meg has no backpacking gear with her and we believe that she was in a distressed mental state due to her bipolar condition at the time of her disappearance. We ask people along the northern Jersey Shore to be vigilant. At this point Meg could be anywhere in the continental US. She does not have her passport. We encourage all friends to continue to search for Meg. We thank all friends who continue to search and support the efforts to ?#?FINDMEG?.
