Quinn Burns, Oakland sixth grader, portrayed Conrad Birdie in the Academy of St Paul’s production of Bye Bye Birdie, held at Don Bosco Prep. The musical brought the audience back to the late 1950’s and Conrad Birdie, a teen rock & roll idol, created an upheaval when he visited small town America, Sweet Apple Ohio. Part of the Academy of St Paul Theatre Arts Program, Bye Bye Birdie was directed by Layne Williams, choreographed by Danielle Van Kampen and music direction given by Jared Rosenblum. This was Quinn’s third appearance in a St Paul production.

Outside of acting, Quinn is a Black Belt Recommended student at Rising Phoenix Martial Arts and Fitness school and a Life Scout in Boy scout Troop 49 in Oakland.
