On the Job – January 28, 2016


policecaroldJANUARY 27:  While on patrol, Officer Bryan Rowin initiated a motor vehicle stop on Franklin Ave that resulted in the arrest of a Pompton Lakes, NJ resident for active traffic and criminal warrants issued by the Pompton Lakes and Prospect Park Municipal Courts.  The 51-year-old male resident of Pompton Lakes, NJ was taken into custody, processed, and later released on bail that was posted by a family member.

JANUARY 27:  Officer Michael Griffin was dispatched to the Oakland Motor Vehicle Commission for an unruly 51-year-old male resident of New Milford, NJ who was found to have multiple active Criminal arrest warrants issued out of Bergenfield, NJ.  The offender was taken into custody for processing and later transported to the Bergen County Jail by the Bergenfield Police Department in lieu of bail.

JANUARY 28:  While on patrol, Officer Michael Griffin initiated a motor vehicle stop on Purdue Avenue which resulted in the arrest of an Oakland resident who was a Wanted Person out of Bergen County for Child Support in excess of $300,000 .  The 46-year-old male was taken into custody, processed, and later turned over into the custody of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department for final disposition.
