On the Job – July 14, 2014


JULY 7:  While on patrol, Officer Bryan Rowin located an Oakland resident who was riding a bicycle along Lakeside Blvd who was known to have an active traffic warrant issued out of the Oakland Municipal Court.  The twenty-one year old male was taken into custody, processed, and later lodged in the Bergen County Jail after being unable to secure the funds needed for his release.

massage4upicJULY 9:  The Oakland Police Department’s Detective Bureau, in conjunction with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office conducted an undercover prostitution sting at a massage parlor in the Copper Tree Mall which resulted in the arrest of a forty-two year old resident of Flushing Queens, NY.  The suspect was taken into custody, charged with engaging in prostitution, and later released on her own recognizance.  Lt. Christian Eldridge, Det. Bart Pagerie, A/Sgt Timothy Keenan, Officer Ryan O’Keefe, and Officer Luis Gaviria assisted with the operation.

JULY 13:  While on patrol, Officer Bryan Rowin located a Cherokee Trail resident that was known to be a wanted person by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department for a probation violation.  The twenty-four year old male was taken into custody, processed, and later released into the custody of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department for final disposition.
