On June 14, 2013 acting on a tip of suspected counterfeit items being sold at a stand within the Copper Tree Mall, Det. Pagerie charged a 42 year old Butler woman with possessing/offering for sale numerous counterfeit handbags, purses and similar items. The suspect was transported to headquarters, processed and released on her own recognizance. The charge will be referred to the Bergen County Superior Court.
On June 19, 2013, as a result of a single car motor vehicle crash on Skyline Drive, Ptl. Docwra arrested a 46 year old Ringwood man for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to HQ where he submitted samples of his breath for chemical testing. Charges included D.W.I., careless driving and driving an unregistered vehicle. After processing, the man was released into the custody of a friend and given a date to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court.
