OCTOBER 30: Officer Stephen Broek investigated a burglary to a vehicle parked on Algonquin Avenue. The complainant reported that cash had been removed from inside her unlocked vehicle. Report taken and matter forwarded to the Detective Bureau.
NOVEMBER 1: Officer Bart Pagerie was dispatched to Oakland Wine & Liquors for a suspected shoplifter. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 61-year-old Oakland, NJ resident was arrested for shoplifting. The female offender was processed and later released on her own recognizances.
NOVEMBER 2: Officers Bryan Rowin and Joseph Noury responded to Frank’s Pizza for an early morning panic alarm. An ex-employee was located on scene that was suspected in multiple previous burglaries and thefts at the establishment. The investigation concluded with the arrest of a 40-year-old resident of Paterson, NJ. The male offender was arrested on scene and charged with Burglary, Theft, and possession of suspected powder cocaine. The offender was processed and lodged in the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $20,000 full cash bail.
