On the Job – October 10, 2012


On October 5, 2012 as a result of an extensive undercover investigation by the Oakland Police Department, the Wanaque Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, a 19 year old East Rutherford woman and a 29 year old Haskell man were arrested at a Jerome Avenue residence on multiple drug offenses.  Charges included the possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, the possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and the possession of drug paraphernalia.  Det./Sgt. DeBoer, Ptl. McDermott and Ptl. Broek participated in the arrests.

as a result of a call for assistance at a Lenape Lane residence, a 19 year old Franklin Lakes woman was arrested by Ptl. Ed McDermott and charged with being under the influence of suspected heroin.  She was later served with the complaint and released on her own recognizance.  She is due to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court in mid October 2012.
