On the Job – October 29, 2015


policecaroldOCTOBER 22: While on patrol Officer Daniel Kern was dispatched to the Oakland Shop-Rite on a complaint of a detained shoplifter. Upon speaking with store security, it was determined that a theft took place which resulted in the arrest of a 50-year-old male resident of Oakland who attempted to steal over $400 worth of merchandise. Bail was set at $1,000/ROR and the offender was later released. Det Mark Piercy assisted with the investigation.

OCTOBER 22: Officer Keith Docwra located a 34-year-old male with an active traffic warrant issued out of the Ringwood Municipal Court who was seated in the Oakland Municipal Court. The offender was arrested, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.

OCTOBER 22: While assisting the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department with an investigation, an arrest was made on Park Dr of a 25-year-old female resident of Hawthorne for various drug-related offenses. The offender was found to be in possession of multiple residue-covered folds of heroin, residue covered baggies of cocaine, a crack pipe, as well as numerous syringes. The offender was processed and later released on her own recognizance.
