IHHS Interact Students at Rotary Garage Sale September 21, 2013
The Oakland/Franklin Lakes Rotary Club Garage Sale – SOLD OUT! The members of the club wish to thank the many residents who donated several hundred incredible Garage Sale items for our annual charity Garage Sale held at the offices of Re/Max on Ramapo Valley Road. “It was an incredible success.’ President Michael Hyatt commented ‘We had a one of the best turn outs we have ever had. It was so wonderful to have so many people participate; both in donating items and of course those who stopped by to get in on all the deals.”
The club raised over $400.00 during the one day event. “We raise money one dollar at a time so it takes a lot of items and a lot of buyers to turn a profit. This year we had so many items donated that we were able to make more money for our annual scholarship fund than ever before. I couldn’t be more proud of our members and our community who selflessly supports us year after year.” Club member Kikot commented following the sale.
Those who got in on the many deals knew that their purchase supports the various projects supported by the club and its members.
